The Pusey Consort is a liturgical chamber choir based in St Hilda's Church in Leeds. 

 

We sing monthly services of Evensong in St Hilda's and sing the Mass on feast days. In addition to our work at St Hilda's, we are in high demand amongst other churches throughout the region to provide music for special services. 

 

Our repertoire consists of a wealth of anthems and service settings of many different styles and periods, from renaissance polyphony to works by contemporary composers. 

 

We strive for musical excellence whilst also priding ourselves on an understanding of the liturgy and the importance of adding to its beauty. We believe that our music is part of a greater offering during worship and are familiar with the finer details of different liturgies, thus enabling a service to flow and inspire. This ethos appeals both to churches seeking a guest choir and to singers seeking to perform sacred music in its intended context.
